FAQ's
Do I need to bring any towels or linen?
No. Everything is supplied as far as bedding and towels,
including beach towels.
Is someone at the retreat all the time?
There are no permanent staff at the retreat. You are welcomed
on arrival and taken through the house and given your manual to
guide you through your stay. If you require someone there for the
entirety of your stay please notify us when you book.
Who does the cooking?
PLEASE NOTE ALL YOUR FOOD IS SUPPLIED IF YOU ARE DOING A
DETOX/YOGA/BOOTCAMP RETREAT IF NOT;
You do all the cooking at the retreat. There is no in house
chef. There are lots of fresh fruit and vegetable suppliers nearby
and of course the markets are fantastic to buy all your foods.
There are many shops on the foreshore of Rye, including a shopping
centre. Have fun cooking... this is a time for you to enjoy
preparing the food that will nurture you and heal you during your
time away. If you need any help with diets or a Dietotherapy
consultation (diet plan for specific ailments and illness) this can
be organised for you.
Do I have to follow a strict diet?
IF YOU ARE DOING THE DETOX/YOGA/BOOTCAMP RETREAT, YES. IF
NOT;
Not at all. In the manual there are recommended foods you should
eat and herbs to take so that you can benefit from your stay at
Yera health retreat. I would recommend doing so for your physical
and emotional well-being.
Is the retreat wheel chair accessible?
No. There a a few small steps to get into the house. Anyone in
a wheelchair will have to be lifted up the few stairs.
Do I have to have something wrong with me, like an illness, to
visit the retreat?
No. The retreat is open to anybody interested in bettering
their health or taking time out to learn about ways to improve
their health.
Is there a phone and TV?
No and no. These stimuli interfere with the body to relax and
recuperate.
